Dissemination Ops at iSRL — once the research is done, I’m the one who gets it out.
That means Zenodo uploads, ResearchGate mirrors, metadata, versioning, and making sure every output actually lands where it’s supposed to. The role exists because research that doesn’t move doesn’t matter, and moving it reliably is its own skill set.
What I’m good at: picking up tools I’ve never used before and figuring them out — testing, poking, reading the docs, getting it to work — before asking for help. Knowing when to push through and when a question will save two hours of debugging. Quarto was new to me when I joined; it isn’t anymore.
Outside iSRL, I lead Localization Engineering at Sahityika, IIT Madras’ literary society, working on making digital content accessible across languages. I’m currently completing a second bachelor’s in Data Science and Applications at IIT Madras.
I think in systems — how processes hold together, where they break, and how to make them keep working without constant intervention.
